In college I was called by God to be a missionary. I just didn't know when or where. I already knew the Lord was leading me into ministry. I attended Spring Arbor University for the youth ministry program. It was there that I met Christine. I was a youth pastor and lived in inner-city Indianapolis, which I loved. I also worked full-time for International Child Care Ministries for almost 7 years.

I love building relationships with people. I love to meet new people. I love to learn people's stories. Really I just love people. I'm so excited that the Lord has called me to build relationships with people in Manila. I can't think of a better way to do ministry. More than anything I love having people over to our house. I love hosting them, caring for them, listening to them, laughing with them. If I could I would have people over every day. Maybe that dream will come true someday.
I enjoy reading, playing with my kids, watching funny videos on the Internet and playing games. I enjoy playing sports, but I'm not good at any of them. I feel so comfortable in the Philippines and miss it when I'm gone. Without trying I start to develop a Filipino accent when I'm there for a while. I really don't mean to, but it just starts happening. I do that wherever I go.

I'm so happy to be a part of the Church around the world, especially in the Philippines. I love the Filipino people and have kind of become Filipino myself. I couldn't be more thrilled with God's plans currently and I am thankful and grateful for you prayers as well.
